The Dragon with No Wings

“Dragon, why don’t you shutter at your ailment?”
“I have no ailment.” He replied tenderly.
“If you have no ailment, then why don’t you fly?”
Closing his eyes, he said, “Wings are not what I need in order to feel happiness. Indeed, it is no good for me to wish for something that I cannot have.”
Silence hit the dragons. Soon, the jade one asked, “What is it that brings you happiness, then?”
“The indisputable happiness of you all.”

He the flightless dragon is the most selfless and unspoken of all. He has large eyes for observing his world, and larger ears for listening closely to it. He never speaks, but he is presumably the brightest creature our world knows. He thinks not of himself as an individual, but him and his family as one entirety. While his cousins grew large and powerful, they never lost respect for him. As they became diverse in shape and size, he stayed small and lingered in the trees. His innate curiosity is what displays his happiness for others.

This race of dragon is called the "Ryn".

I've been working on this little guy since the winter olympics. My intention was to make four of them before my grad party. My grad party is this saturday. Oh, well! He was still very fun. Hope you like him!
